Clear Backpack Recommendation Reminder
As you prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, Lanett City Schools recommends that students use clear backpacks to help promote a safe and secure learning environment. Families purchasing backpacks for the upcoming school year are encouraged to keep this recommendation in mind while shopping.

Registration Reminder!
Don't wait until the last minute! Registration for the 2026–2027 school year is open, and we encourage all returning and new students to complete the registration process as soon as possible.
Completing registration early helps us prepare for a successful school year by ensuring class schedules, transportation, staffing, and other important services are ready for your student.
If you have not yet registered, please do so today.

Effective beginning with the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, the school board is introducing a new recommendation for all students to use clear backpacks. Our top priority is to enhance campus safety and promote a secure learning environment for everyone. Implementing this recommendation helps us better regulate the types of bags and backpacks allowed on school premises.

It’s that time of year! We are gearing up for our 2025-2026 Device Collection. Students should bring their school issued chromebook and charger to school on May 14 & 15 .
Who: All Traditional (Face-To-Face) students in Grades 2–11.
